It is time to say goodbye to our great lab mates:
Aditya Aryandi Setiawibawa is moving to Singapore to work on microbial biotechnology at the Nanyang Technological University
Izabel Lai will work as a research assistant at China Medical University, in Taichung, Taiwan
Chloe Huang will start her senior year as a Pharmacy undergraduate student and a year-long internship at the NCKU Hospital
In the other direction, we welcome Karen to our team.
Good luck Aditya, Izabel and Chloe and thank you for your contribution.

Our recent review on fungal cell death is now out. Topics covered include:
Evidence for the potential occurrence of apoptotic-like, necroptosis-like, and pyroptosis-like death in fungi, and the role of the NLR proteins in fungal cell death
Data on meiotic drive elements involved in “spore killing”
The molecular basis of allorecognition-related cell death during cell fusion of genetically dissimilar cells
How fungal regulated cell death can be relevant in developing strategies to avoid resistance and tolerance to antifungal agents
